- Comprehensive list of all species and varieties. Provides taxonomic and nomenclatural dictionary.
- Collection events
- Records of the specific real-world occurrence when a plant specimen, seed, or observational record was collected in the field. It captures the foundational “who, where, when, and under what conditions” metadata associated with physical herbarium specimens or biodiversity surveys.
- Specimens
- Individual physical specimens preserved in the Herbarium collection.
- Living Collections
- The Living Collections data tracks individual, cultivated plants physically growing on the grounds—including precise garden locations (GardenLocalityName, Grid), plant counts, propagation details, and memorial designations.

Using Conditional Operators
You can filter results using multiple criteria within the single search box by separating terms with the AND or OR conditional operators. These operators must be in uppercase.
AND
Includes only records matching all specified terms across species or common names.
Example: blue AND spruce returns entries matching both “blue” and “spruce” (e.g., Blue Spruce).
OR
Includes records matching at least one of the specified terms in either field.
Example: oak OR pine returns entries containing either “oak” or “pine” (e.g., White Oak, Ponderosa Pine).
